this presentation will discuss how a professional accounting concepts can be applied to academic fraud in accounting education. the presentation is based on a research study published in the journal of accounting education. first, we discuss how the fraud triangle can be used to examine academic dishonesty. second, we outline how risk mapping tools can be applied to plagiarism and exam cheating. next, we will facilitate a forum to discuss our results and gain further insight into the subject.
