join this virtual information and networking session to learn about cooperathon 2026, one of canada's largest open innovation challenges. cooperathon is a national entrepreneurial program that brings together 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , researchers, entrepreneurs, professionals, and innovators to develop high-impact solutions addressing major social, environmental, and economic challenges.

powered by desjardins and supported by universities, incubators, and innovation partners across canada, cooperathon provides participants with a structured entrepreneurial journey designed to transform ideas into real ventures, research applications, and impactful solutions.

participants take part in a multi-week entrepreneurial training program that includes:

• workshops led by experienced entrepreneurs and innovation leaders
• mentorship from industry experts and startup ecosystem partners
• opportunities to build interdisciplinary teams and collaborate with changemakers across canada
• access to educational resources and innovation tools
• coaching in pitch development and venture design

participants work on projects aligned with global priorities such as the united nations sustainable development goals, focusing on three core challenge areas:

people
innovations that improve well-being, accessibility, equity, and social inclusion.

planet
solutions that address sustainability, climate resilience, and protection of the natural environment.

prosperity
ideas that support economic inclusion, responsible industry development, and digital trust.

the cooperathon journey runs from late january through july and includes team creation events, training sessions, mentorship, and a national pitch competition. teams selected to advance in the program receive additional coaching and present their projects to a jury of innovation leaders and industry experts.

more than $100,000 in prizes and support is available for the most promising projects.
