administration today confirmed that further to the meeting between the university's negotiating team and the ontario labour board on april 29, and a follow-up meeting with caw's bargaining unit held on may 5, the university's position and offer to caw members stand as follows:
limited outsourcing: the university offers the additional concession of excluding positions in maintenance from the outsourcing clause; under this offer, only vacated positions in housekeeping would be potentially outsourced.
job protection: the university's offer includes a guarantee that every existing caw employee would be protected from outsourcing until such time that he or she leaves the employ of the university. only then would the university consider the vacated position for outsourcing.
part-time workers (represented by seiu): the university's ultimate responsibility is to provide a quality education to our 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛
so they can be productive, contributing citizens. this includes providing a safe, secure, and healthy physical environment for 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛
