go eng girl continues to heighten young girls' knowledge and interest in engineering

(october 12, 2007 - thunder bay, on) on saturday, october 13, 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 will host the third annual go eng girl program, which will also be held at 13 locations across ontario. go eng girl is intended for girls in grades 7 - 10, as well as their parents. it is designed to highlight and promote various areas of engineering, generate interest in the profession, and encourage young girls who might not otherwise envision themselves in the field.

attendees will meet women engineers and engineering 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , learn about some of the amazing projects that women engineers are currently working on, and have the opportunity to participate in a number of exciting hands-on activities.

"we think this year's program agenda will be memorable and has the potential to excite and motivate our young guests," says dr. meilan liu, associate professor of mechanical engineering and p.eng. among the day's activities, girls will enjoy presentations by nicole mailette of bombardier's mass transit division and representatives from other local industries, eat a tasty pizza lunch, and participate in a quiz and prize draw. "the real attraction this year is the team-oriented hands-on opportunity to build rover the retriever and spike the scorpion, and grasp a concrete understanding of the various kinds of engineering involved in the moving robots." girls will be able to have a keepsake photo taken with either rover or spike.

admission is free and lunch will be provided. 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 must be accompanied by an adult (relative, guardian, teacher, or family friend), and each student must provide a parental permission form.
