阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 and ontario parks host meeting to discuss research for protected areas
in september, 2007, the provincial cabinet proclaimed ontario's new provincial parks and conservation reserves act. as one of its four objectives, the legislation encourages scientific research for use in park planning and management activities.
"the purpose of the october 11 meeting is to discuss research opportunities among staff from ontario parks offices in the northwest, faculty members and 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 from 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 , and representatives from parks canada and other non-governmental agencies," says dr. bob payne, professor of outdoor recreation, parks, and tourism at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 .
attendees will all have the opportunity to discuss and consider the research agenda developed by thunder bay's ontario parks - northwest zone. "ontario parks staff has many more research questions than we can possibly answer ourselves," says steve kingston, ecologist with ontario parks - northwest zone. "our goal is to encourage 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 faculty and 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 to undertake collaborative research with ontario parks staff. through discussion, participants will explore the development of a lakehead parks research group, an organization which will facilitate collaborative research endeavours that could lead to strategic solutions for parks and protected areas."
the event takes place in the university's faculty lounge from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. all people with research interests are welcome to attend, and snacks and refreshments will be available.
