(october 2, 2008 - thunder bay, on) for the past three years, 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 and community partners have welcomed guests to lakehead celebrates, an annual fundraising event in support of 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 . proceeds from this event go toward student scholarships.
the fourth annual lakehead celebrates will take place on thursday, october 16, 2008, in the 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 hangar. all community members are invited to participate in this lakehead tradition. the event will be a night of laughter, fine food, exhilarating music, and renewing friendships. this year's celebration will feature an overview of progress on the 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 orillia campus.
"the new 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 orillia campus will be built to achieve the leadership in energy and environmental design (leed) platinum standard. as such it will be the first university campus in canada completely designed to this standard. we are pleased to share the excitement of developments in orilla with the thunder bay community at lakehead celebrates," said dr. fred gilbert, 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 president.
entertainment for the evening includes mood indigo - the most sought after jazz trio in thunder bay; well-known duo gillian siddall & kim fedderson; susanna di giuseppe, and the 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 vocal ensemble. tapas and gourmet delicacies, washed down with red and white wines, and the signature, "lakehead and friends martini" are sure to please the senses.
co-chair of lakehead celebrates and past chair of the 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 board of governors, jackie dojack states, "amidst the excitement and festive atmosphere of this event, it is important to remember that the goal of lakehead celebrates is a serious one - raising funds for student scholarships to allow deserving 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 to achieve their dream of a university education." she adds, "the feature video of the orillia campus includes two 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 who have benefited from scholarship fundraising."
chris bell, senior general manager of bell says, "bell has continued to support lakehead celebrates because there are few causes more worthy of our financial support than helping a young person complete a university degree. finances should not be a barrier to deserving 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 ."
lakehead celebrates takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the university's hangar. tickets may be purchased now for $90 per person. tables also may be reserved for groups of eight people. all proceeds will benefit 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛
