orillia campus student brings home oua championship medals
orillia student and freshmanmark doble was part of the lakehead thunderwolves men's nordic ski team that won its fifth straight oua championship in haliburton, ontario feb. 21 and 22.
doble was a member of lakehead's gold medal winning men's relay team and had a great race in the men's 10 km skate;taking bronze with a time of 25:03.2.he also placed sixth in the mass start free race.
his three-race oua championships total was 1 gold, 1 bronze, and a sixth place finish. doble was named an oua all star for his efforts.
he is the first orillia based student to win medals at any oua championship.
