the safetalk workshop aims to reduce the stigma that prevents society from talking about suicide. safetalk teaches participants to identify people at risk of suicide, start a conversation without fear, and direct them to the appropriate resources. learning how to talk – tell, ask, listen, and keep safe – is one of the key takeaways of the workshop.

“encouraging conversation and knowledge on mental health helps build a stronger community and reduces the taboo and stigma that surrounds the subject of suicide,” said dr. linda rodenburg, coordinator of community engagement and lifelong learning at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 orillia. “our hope is that the interest in learning more about mental health and suicide prevention extends past our campus and into the community.”
