explores contemporary debates on gender, health and food justice through a transnational framing of food systems, food and environmental politics and responsibilities for health and food work. we will employ critical sociological and intersectional theory to investigate private and public food work, the alternative and agricfood systems, global and local politics of food security and contemporary food movements that advocate food sovereignty
