the shsm is a specialized program that allows 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 earn their ontario secondary school diploma (ossd) while also focusing on developing skills, knowledge, and certifications relevant to a chosen industry.

arts & culture (media studies)
crossfade | mfac’s high school workshops
crossfade is a series of three in-person production workshops hosted by 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 ’s media, film & communications (mfac) program, designed for high school 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 . led by dr. neven lochhead, the series introduces participants to creative and technical skills in sound design, filmmaking, and interactive storytelling, while also offering a first look at what university-level teaching and learning can feel like.
each workshop includes tutorials, hands-on production activities, and take-home exercises. the series culminates with a public exhibition, where projects made in crossfade will be presented in a professional gallery setting alongside works by mfac undergraduates. graduating high school 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 can also choose to have their crossfade workshop projects assessed as an mfac portfolio submission, creating a possible early-entry pathway into the program’s major.

in this engaging program, involving a virtual and interactive module with faculty from 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 's outdoor recreation, parks & tourism (orpt) program, 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 will learn about:
- levels of tourism marketing and research in canada
- traveller types
- destination canada's traveller marketing segmentation profiles
- packaging tourism experiences
they can then visit a parks canada tourism site where they will extend and apply their learning, engage in an innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship (ice) challenge, and learn about industry pathways and opportunities.
agriculture
the sustainable agriculture module offered for grade 11/12 ontario shsm programs provides 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 with an introductory exploration of sustainable agricultural theory and practices rooted in environmental, economic, and social concerns. this module encourages 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills towards a more healthy, just and sustainable agri-food system. the 3 part module consists of a presentation on sustainable agriculture, combined with a hands-on experiential learning activity and an innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship (ice) project.
